TAYLOR MILL, KY (FOX19) - The eastbound lanes of Interstate 275 were temporarily shut down after a car accident occurred on Thursday afternoon.
A short time after a 5:00pm an accident occurred on I-275 at the Licking River. Police say that car hit a guardrail an d flipped over six times before it came to a stop.Deris from the vehicle was all over the highway. Aircare was requested to the scene, but cannot fly because of weather conditions.
Officials say that the driver is a Kenton County man in his 20's. He was taken to University Hospital and is listed in critical condition. His name has not been released.
The accident could have been caused by the weather, volume of cars or speed according to police.
Luckily, no other car was hit or damaged in the incident.
