Give Back Cincinnati coordinated a Fall Feast for anyone who needed a holiday meal in the Greater Cincinnati area, or just needed a place to go. Two thousand people took them up on it. So who comes up with the idea to host a community Thanksgiving Dinner? Better question, how?
" I was at an event at Paul Brown Stadium and a worker was talking about an event in the San Antonio area that fed 15,000 people and it stuck in my mind. So Charlie Hall President of Alpine Valley Water talked to the service organization Give Back Cincinnati about it and ran with it.
Everything donated, the food for 4,000 by Cisco of Cincinnati, bus passes, coats, haircuts, free eye exams, books and gifts for the kids. According to Hall, " It's beautiful it show you what an idea, volunteerism, heart can do to a community.
