CINCINNATI, OH (FOX19) -The Salvation Army kicked off it's Red Kettle Campaign with a little orange and black, at the Bengals game Sunday.

The goal for the 2009 campaign for Greater Cincinnati is $600,000 dollars.  And the Salvation Army hoped to raise $15,000 from Bengals fans.  Fans who donated a dollar or more got a black and orange pom-pom.

The annual Red Kettle Campaign is a major fund-raising effort by the Salvation Army to collect funds to serve those that need material, physical, emotional or spiritual support through programs throughout the Tris-tate.
