EVANSTON, OH (FOX19) - A vacant building will be torn down Monday after it was heavily damaged by fire.
Flames broke out around 10 p.m. Sunday night in the two-story home near the corner of Fairfax and Wold.
"We determined the structure's been vacant for about two years," said Cincinnati Fire PIO Capt. Michael Washington. "It was boarded up so you know its undetermined at this point but there was no power or gas services in the building prior to the fire event."
The building is a total loss and one of the neighboring structures suffered $25,000 in roof damage. No one was hurt.
