Commissioners vote to keep property tax rollback

CINCINNATI, OH (FOX19) - Hamilton County commissioners voted Monday to keep a property tax credit for 2010.

Homeowners have received the credit since 1996, when voters approved a sales tax increase during the push to fund Paul Brown Stadium and Great American Ball Park. Commissioners promised a portion of the money would appear as credit on property tax bills.

The rollback was in jeopardy because there didn't seem to be enough money to pay for it. Commissioners say they aren't sure how it will be paid for.
