Pair arrested after fighting with police

CINCINNATI, OH (FOX19) - Two people were arrested Monday evening after police say they fought with a pair of officers.

Police responded to Warsaw Avenue on a report of a verbal fight.

When officers arrived, they say they were attacked by Amanda Morgan, 22, of Ryland Heights, Ky. and Nicholas Baldwin, 22, of Cincinnati.

According to court documents, Morgan punched and kicked Officer Monique Cheatham, causing injuries to her knee and elbow, and Officer Patrice Brooks, causing injuries to her elbow, knee and face. Morgan faces two counts of aggravated assault and one count of resisting arrest.

Baldwin also faces an assault charge for pushing Officer Brooks while she was being assaulted by Morgan.
