FRANKLIN, OH (FOX19) - Three people were taken to the hospital after an accident involving a Franklin City school bus.
It happened around 8:30 a.m. at 6th Street and Reilly Boulevard in downtown Franklin.
Police say a semi-truck owned by Vork Trucking and operated by Dennis Burns struck a mini-van operated by Amanda Combs, of Franklin. The impact drove the mini-van into the rear of the School Bus #20, operated by Tina Sparkman, of Germantown.
Sparkman and two kindergarten students on board the bus were taken to Sycamore Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Dispatchers say there are several injuries, but they are unsure of how many. The Dayton Daily News is reporting the crash involved a bus, a semi truck and a van.
Burns was cited for assured clear distance.
