CINCINNATI, OH (FOX19) - Two new Cincinnati city council members were sworn in Tuesday.
Laure Quinlivan and Charlie Winburn began their turn on council during a ceremony Tuesday morning at City Hall.
They were elected during November's election, replacing Greg Harris, who was not elected, and vice mayor David Crowley, who reached term limits.
Roxanne Qualls was also sworn in as vice-mayor, and Mayor Mark Mallory was sworn in for his second term. Leslie Ghiz, Chris Bortz, Chris Monzel, Laketa Cole, Cecil Thomas and Jeff Berding were also sworn in for new terms on city council.
The new council's first order of business will be the 2010 budget, as the city is facing a deficit of $51 million. Mayor Mallory called it the most difficult situation in three decades.
