FOX19.com Midday Update

Good Wednesday afternoon:

Here are the headlines from FOX19.com -

Tiger Woods is apologizing for his actions on his website today.  He says that he let his family down by his actions. Here is the latest including a copy of the text.

Rain moved into the tri-state this morning - it could end with a few snowflakes.  Steve Horstmeyer is constantly updating our weather page with the latest forecast and video.

A serious accident on Fairbanks Road about 10am this morning knocked out power to surrounding homes.  Police were able to rescue the truck driver who hit a pole.  The road is still closed between River and Delhi.

And Newt Gingrich is in Cincinnati today to talk about jobs.  FOX19 is the only local station to get a one on one interview with the former Congressman.  That interview will be posted here on FOX19.com as soon as it gets back in house.

Here is the forecast in detail:

Look for periods of light, chilly rain throughout the day and a damp chill in the air. Rain totals will be one-half inch or less but with the wet stuff coming down most of they day it may be a slow go and a slow commute on the way home.

It looks like chilly but great football weather Sunday for the Bengals.

And we want to broadcast the Bengals game this Sunday but we need your help.  The NFL will blackout the game unless it is a sellout -  and it is not one -- but you can help.  Here is a link to the ticket office.  If you would like a chance to see the game in person this is your chance.  And you help your neighbors see the game at home.

Standing alongside Putin, Trump steered clear of any confrontation with the Russian, going so far as to question American intelligence and last week's federal indictments that accused 12 Russians of hacking into Democratic email accounts to hurt Hillary Clinton in 2016.
