BURLINGTON, Ky. (AP) - Prosecutors in Northern Kentucky say they'll seek the death penalty in the murder of a mathematician who was retired from the Oak Ridge National Laboratory in Tennessee.

A prosecutor told a judge in Burlington on Thursday she intends to ask for capital punishment in the trial of Willa Blanc.

Blanc is a former cleaning woman for Walter Sartory, a 73-year-old reclusive millionaire.

Blanc and her adult son Louis Wilkinson are charged with complicity to murder, kidnapping, theft and abusing a corpse.

Prosecutors haven't decided on a capital request in Wilkinson's case.

Sartory's body was found burned in a field outside Indianapolis in March. After his death, several of Sartory's investments were transferred to Blanc's name.
