COVINGTON, KY (FOX19) - A Kenton County Grand Jury has indicted three people in a bizarre sex case involving a 12-year-old boy.
"It's sad. It's frightening and it's sad. Both," says Kenton County Commonwealth Attorney Rob Sanders.
Sanders says the file his office has on the case keeps growing thicker. First, he says Ernestine Perry repeatedly had sex with the boy. The boy is one of her relatives.
"The story only gets longer and more complicated and tragic as he we go," says Sanders.
Sanders says Ernestine's husband, Bobby Perry, also had sex with the 12-year-old. Sanders says Bobby Perry then sold the boy to Lance Presswood for sex.
"I've never seen anything like this with so many cases mixing or crossing paths with the same child victim," says Sanders.
Sanders says this complicated case is the first one of human trafficking ever seen in Kenton County. It's a case that has all three facing multiple sexual abuse and sodomy charges.
"It's a child that was abused over and over, and obviously has suffered some pretty traumatic consequences," says Sanders.
Ernestine Perry's arraignment was Monday morning. Bobby Perry and Lance Presswood will be in court for arraignment later this month.
