CINCINNATI, OH (FOX19) - A lawsuit has been filed against Bengals wide receiver Chad Ochocinco for non-payment on a loan.
According to the lawsuit filed Dec. 4 by Daimler Chrysler, Ochocinco - formerly Chad Johnson - purchased a 2008 Dodge Challenger from Northgate Chrysler Jeep in August of 2008. The car was valued at $50,005, and Ochocinco paid a $20,000 cash downpayment. He took a loan for $34,650.80.
The lawsuit claims Ochocinco owns the $34,650.80 balance plus an interest of 15 percent per annum from Sept. 10, 2009.
