CINCINNATI, OH (FOX19) - A former morgue worker set to be punished for having sex with bodies will have to wait longer to hear his fate.

Hamilton County Judge William Mallory is on the court of appeals and can't hear the case for Kenneth Douglass on Thursday. Douglass was scheduled to be sentenced at 9 a.m. Thursday in the Hamilton County Courthouse. The sentencing is postponed until later this month.

Douglass pled guilty to two counts of gross sexual abuse of a corpse.  The 56-year-old faces a possible sentence of three years in prison.  He is in jail already serving a three year sentence after being convicted for having sex with the body of a 19-year-old murder victim in 1982.  The latest charges involve two female homicide victims from 1991.  Prosecutors say he was caught with DNA evidence.
