CINCINNATI, OH (FOX19) - Two tri-state women are charged with shoplifting nearly $2,000 worth of merchandise from stores at the Premium Outlet Mall in Monroe.

Police say they caught Lanisha Gilbert and Quantessa Huffman with $1976.23 in merchandise from the The Gap, Carter, Pac Sun, Calendar Club and Icing.

Both women are now charged with felony theft.  Huffman was also charged with Obstructing Official Business for giving a false name to police.

Investigators believe the women are also involved in other shoplifting cases at the mall, and further charges may be pending.

This operation was the result of a week long investigation by the Monroe Police Department Detectives Division, which began after a series of big ticket shoplifting incidents at the outlet mall.
