Busy day for budget in Cincinnati

CINCINNATI, OH (FOX19) - It will be a busy day at City Hall has Cincinnati City Council tries to put the final touches on the 2010 budget.

Council has until Jan. 1 to finalize the budget.

The city's finance committee will meet Wednesday morning at 10 a.m. in council chambers. That will be followed by a special meeting of the full council at 2:30 p.m. The public is invited to come speak at 2 p.m. This special meeting was called by Mayor Mark Mallory.

On Tuesday night, dozens of residents packed the Pleasant Ridge Recreation Center to voice their concerns and suggestions on the budget.

The city is dealing with a $51 million deficit.
