CINCINNATI, OH (FOX19) - The daughter of a Cincinnati city councilman who was charged with obstructing official business has been found not guilty.

Celeste Thomas, 27, was acquitted of the charge, which stemmed from a traffic stop that ended in her being tased.

Investigators say Officer Anthony Plummer used excessive force in the tasing, and he's since had his police powers stripped.

Earlier this month, Thomas has another charge of possessing an open container dropped because a judge said officers had no right to search the vehicle she was riding in.
