Freestore Foodbank helps thousands more

OVER THE RHINE, OH (FOX19) - The Freestore Foodbank helped more than two thousand families on Tuesday, their day of Christmas food distribution.  

The Freestore reports distributing goods to 2,312 families, a total of 6,545 people.

On Tuesday, they also gave out more than 100,000 pounds of food.

On Wednesday, the Freestore will distribute food to more families from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Mrs. Claus and Mr. Redlegs will be on-hand from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. to distribute toys to neighborhood children and entertain parents and their children in line.

The Freestore says it is expecting this holiday season to be one of the busiest on record.
