UPDATE: Bond set for man accused of carriage crash

COVINGTON, KY (FOX19) - Bond was set Monday for a suspect accused of crashing his car into a horse drawn carriage on Friday night.

Terrence Rice, 23, of Cincinnati, faces second degree assault for the accident, which occurred on the Roebling Suspension Bridge.

Rice was taken to the Kenton County Detention Center and had his bond set Monday at $5,000. His case was continued until Jan. 5.

The carriage driver was taken to University Hospital with a head injury. The passenger and the horse were not hurt.
