CINCINNATI, OH (FOX19) - Occupants of Kenwood Towne Place have received a Temporary Certification of Occupancy from the Hamilton County Department of Building Inspections, allowing them to continue operations through 2010.
County officials worked with Kenwood Towne Place tenants and the previous receiver appointed to the development to identify construction needs and remedy immediate issues to ensure the integrity of the finished portion of the development.
The TCO was granted based on completed and scheduled work at the development.
Earlier this month, a new receiver was appointed to the development. Hamilton County Common Pleas Judge Beth Meyers has ordered up to $1.7 million be loaned to the receiver to address other construction issues at the site identified by the county's Building Commissioner. This includes $264,000 Judge Meyers earlier ordered loaned for repairs.
Kenwood Towne Place is currently occupied by retailers including Mitchell's Salon and Day Spa, Kroger Fresh Fare, The Container Store, Crate & Barrel and LA Fitness.
