CINCINNATI, OH (FOX19) - Road crews in Cincinnati are working overtime to ensure the roads remain safe.
The National Weather Service is calling for more snow Thursday, mainly in the evening. Crews are concentrating on primary roadways. Most primary streets have snow some covering but are very passable. City officials say some pickups are being used to treat residential streets. By late Thursday afternoon, most residential streets remain snow covered.
A parking restriction has been issued for Cincinnati. That means parking is not permitted along the designated Emergency Snow Routes. Routes are designated by signs stating: No Parking During Snow Emergency. Businesses are encouraged to help by informing patrons of the restriction and offering parking suggestions that comply with the Parking Restriction. Additionally, all residents are encouraged to use off-street parking if possible, even on non-emergency routes.
