BATAVIA, OH (FOX19) - Charges have been filed against a Clermont County man accused of leaving several horses dead or starving.
Chad Moore, 39, who is a horse trainer, left the horses on his parents property in Bethel because he was facing legal issues. He was arrested Dec. 31 on open warrants for non support and DUI.
Moore now faces two counts of cruelty to animals and two counts of abandoning animals.
Several horses were found dead on the farm, and six horses, a pony and a donkey were rescued from the farm.
