BURLINGTON, Ky. (AP) - A Cincinnati man has been sentenced to five years in prison in northern Kentucky for running over his wife and killing her.

41-year-old Paul Walz was sentenced in Boone County Circuit Court on Wednesday. He had pleaded guilty to second-degree manslaughter in the death of 30-year-old Carisa Walz last June.

A count of drunken driving and a charge of violating a domestic violence order were dropped in the plea deal.

Court records indicate Carisa Walz fell out of the couple's car when she leaned out to vomit and was run over.
