LAUREL, IN (FOX19) - An Indiana family was arrested Thursday morning after a lengthy investigation.

Indiana State Police served arrest warrants on Smokey Hollow Road for Bill Conn, 69, for arson, four counts of welfare fraud and three counts of receiving stolen property; and his wife, Darlene Conn, 62, for four counts of welfare fraud; their son, Lloyd Conn, 34, for arson; and their daughter, Barb Gamble, 43, for welfare fraud.

The arrests were made after a lengthy ongoing investigation by multiple agencies.

Investigators say the arson charges stem from an investigation into the "revenge" burning of an outbuilding.  The welfare fraud charges stem from an investigation into the Conn's taking welfare food stamp debit cards in payment for loans, narcotics and stolen property.

All four were lodged in the Franklin County Jail.

This was not the first time warrants have been served on the Conn's.  On April 22, 2009, numerous felony warrants were served, with thousands of dollars worth of stolen property being recovered.  Then on March 30, 2009, troopers found and dismantled a meth lab at Lloyd Conn's residence. Thousands of dollars worth of stolen property was confiscated during that investigation.
