SYMMES TOWNSHIP, OH (FOX19) - A trio of Burger King employees have been arrested after faking a robbery.

Angel Proctor, 23, of West Chester, Tammy Medina, 27, of Mason and Christina Hylton, 23, of Hamilton, all faces charges of making a false alarm and theft.

Police say Medina, the crew leader at the Burger King on Union Cemetery Road in Symmes Township, reported she was robbed by an unknown person as she was enroute to make a bank deposit on Dec. 12. She indicated the unknown person forced his way into her car at Union-Cemetery and Montgomery Road, implied he had a weapon, and made her drive around until he exited the vehicle near a wooded area with her purse and the $2900 Burger King bank deposit.

Further investigation revealed the report was false and that Medina, Hylton (Burger King Assistant Manager) and Proctor (former Burger King employee) had conspired to steal the $2900 bank deposit and file a false report. None of the money was recovered.

Police obtained confessions, and Hylton and Medina were arrested on Dec. 30. Proctor was arrested on Jan. 18. Hylton and Medina have been indicted.

Investigation conducted by Sheriff's Detectives, CIS, developed evidence and obtained confessions which led to the above charges being filed and the subsequent arrests.

All three are awaiting adjudication of the charges.
