COLERAIN TOWNSHIP, OH (FOX19) - A teenager is in custody, accused of breaking in to a local library.

Police responded to the North Central Branch of the Hamilton County Library on Hamilton Avenue around 9:30 p.m. Wednesday night. Officers observed the suspect going through the cash drawers inside the library. When the suspect saw the officers, he hid in the building. The doors of the library were locked and it appears the suspect gained entry by concealing himself at closing. When library security arrived, the Sheriff's K-9 unit searched the building and found the suspect locked in the men's restroom.

The suspect has been identified as Alfonzo Williams, 18, of Colerain Township. He is charged with breaking and entering and also had additional outstanding warrants for resisting arrest and criminal trespass. He is being held in the Hamilton County Justice Center.
