Hebron Displays National Threat Level

The government is telling Americans not to be afraid of terrorism, instead, be ready.

The Hebron Fire Department is now flying a colored pennant that will display the appropriate threat level of national security, which right now is orange. The department hopes the flag will keep the public aware and also let them know their fire department is taking a pro-active stance to keep everyone safe.

"As the public drives by, they can look at the flag pole and see we're at an orange level today and the fire department is aware of that and we're trying to stay on top of the situation as well as anybody else," said Hebron Fire Chief Dale Harshbarger.

The Hebron Department says the community is responding well to the idea and are encouraging other Tri-State departments to fly a colored pennant as well.
