CINCINNATI (FOX19) – A concert was held Sunday afternoon to remember the life of SCPA student Esme Kenny.

The parents of Esme Kenney were a part of a choral concert Sunday afternoon at the St. John's Unitarian Universalist Church in Clifton.

Cincinnati's Vocal Arts Ensemble, MUSe-Cincinnati's Women's Choir, The Cincinnati Men's Chorus, and the St. John's Adult choir all performed in honor Esme Kenney's 14th birthday.

Kenney was tragically murdered while jogging near her home in March of 2009. Her suspected killer, Anthony Kirkland, is in jail awaiting trial in March for Esme's death and the murders of three other women.

The event is also a fundraiser for a memorial glass sculpture to be installed at the Cincinnati School for Performing Arts to honor Esme.
