CINCINNATI (FOX19) - The tri-state is under a Winter Storm Watch for Friday and Saturday as another round of rain/ice/snow tracks across the midwest. The National Weather Service issued the Watch early Wednesday afternoon.
FOX19's Chief Meterologist Steve Horstmeyer says there is the chance of "significant accumlation" with the storm. This could be the heaviest snowfall the area has seen this season with snowfall greater than 4 inches.
The Winter Storm Watch covers Boone, Kenton and Campbell Counties in Kentucky. All the FOX19 viewing counties in Ohio up to Miami County and then stretches east and west across Ohio and Indiana.
