FORT THOMAS, KY (FOX19) - Police are investigating a string of break-ins in Fort Thomas.

Investigators say the crooks are pretty bold, as all of the burglaries have occurred during the day over the past month or so.

Officers say that so far, thieves have broken into four homes in Fort Thomas, on Clover Ridge Avenue, Deshler Lane, Waterworks Road and Chesapeake Avenue. Police say the crooks kick in back doors, or break windows in the back of homes.

Investigators say the burglars are stealing valuable items they can easily get their hands on, including game systems, jewelry and computers.

Officers say neighbors reported seeing a suspicious person in the area a few weeks ago, but don't have any specifics on a description.

"We'd like for people if they see anything that they'd think is suspicious in their neighborhoods whether a person or a car or someone who appears to be out of place or walking near their or neighbor's property to call police department and let us check that out," said Lt. Col. Mark Dill with Fort Thomas Police.

If you know or see anything suspicious, call Fort Thomas police at 859-262-3622.
