Man wanted for local felonious assault arrested in Las Vegas

CINCINNATI, OH (FOX19) --A man who was wanted for a brutal assault on a homeless man was arrested in Las Vegas.

The Las Vegas Metro Police Department has reported that Michael K. Taylor ( aka "Madness") was arrested early Saturday.

Taylor was wanted for a felonious assault on a homeless man that occurred in January in front of Bootsy's restaurant in Cincinnati. With the help of witnesses and surveillance footage, Police was able to identify the suspect and a nationwide pick- up for Michael Taylor was issued.

The victim, Robert Meeham, suffered severe facial and head injuries and was forced in to a medically induced coma.

An extradition hearing for Michael Taylor will be scheduled shortly.
