OXFORD, OH (FOX 19) - A Miami University senior was killed Friday while driving in a snow storm.
Brendan Burke, 21, was a manager for Miami's top ranked hockey team.
He died after his Jeep Cherokee crashed into another vehicle in Wayne County, Ind. which is near Richmond.
An 18-year old passenger in Burke's vehicle also died.
Burke's father, Brian Burke, is the general manager of the NHL's Toronto Maple Leafs, and of the United States Olympic hockey team, which will play in Vancouver later this month.
Brendan and his father appeared in a profile on espn.com story in December detailing Brendan's story as a gay man involved in sports and how supportive his father and Miami's hockey team was to him.
