DEERFIELD TOWNSHIP, OH (FOX19) --One person is staying with family after a chimney fire in Warren County Saturday evening.
A short time after 8:00pm, Deerfield Township fire crews were called to the 9700 block of Whipporwill Lane for a report of a fire.
Officials say that there was fire coming from the attic and roof area of the home.11 other fire crews including neighboring crews form Hamilton County and Sycamore Township.
There was extensive damage to the roof and back of the home when the fire was finally extinguished.
One one was hurt, but the occupant of the home is now staying with family.
