MIDDLETOWN, OH (FOX19) - The Ohio Environmental Protection Agency has given the go ahead to Sunoco's Middletown Coke Company.  The plans to build a 340-million dollar coke plan have been delayed for over five years as the company worked to meet clean air requirments.

The palnt would provide coke to AK Steel, Middletown Works for its steel-making operation.

According to the Ohio EPA the new permit has tehmost stringent requirements in the country for coke-making facilities.
