NEWPORT, KY (FOX19) - Almost a year after her guilty conviction, a civil suit filed against Cheryl McCafferty has been resolved.
McCafferty is the Fort Thomas woman who was convicted in April 2009 of killing her husband, Bob, back in June of 2007.
Representatives of Bob's estate sued Cheryl after her conviction. McCafferty's attorney, Keith Gambrel, says an agreement in the civil suit was reached between Cheryl and Bob's family.
Cheryl McCafferty is serving an 18 year sentence. She could have a parole hearing early next year.
