Cranberry Salad

Recipe from Sharon Crady of Linden, Ind.

Prep Time  15 min
Total Time: Maybe 2 hrs

1 can crushed pineapple
1 can cranberry sauce
7 oz. only 7 UP
1 Lg. pkg. Cherry Jello
1 8 oz. pkg. cream cheese
1 8 oz. container Cool Whip
1 sm bag crushed pecans

1. Use 9x12 dish, add jello to bottom of dish, take juice from drained pineapple, enough to make 1 c. add water if needed to make cup.

2. Then heat and bring to boil, add and mix to jello stir well until mixed.

3. Then add 7up, mix, add cranberry sauce [if you have a crank eggbeater, works best] when mixed, then add crushed pineapple.

4. When all mixed together, refrigerate till solid, then take your cream cheese and cool whip, mix together well, when jello is complete, spread on top, then add pecans to garnish, absolutely delicious.

Servings: 6 to 8, maybe, if somebody doesn't make a pig of themselves.
Comments: Everyone will LOVE this.

Everyone's sauce recipe is different. This one is more Sicilian and was handed down from my grandparents. The key is no exact measurements just flavor with ingredients below to taste.  In a large pot
