(FOX 19)-- Calamity days for school districts are causing calamity weeks for athletic directors and coaches trying to coordinate make-up games, practices and facilities schedules.

From Colerain to Milford it is impacting momentum.

The girls basketball post-season starts this week and some schools did not get the full schedule of games in before the cut-off.

The Colerain boys basketball team play five games in eight days, barring another snow that would delay games.

Tuesday there was no school for Northwest Local Schools due to weather, however both girls and boys teams played games in the evening after the roads were clear.

Colerain athletic director Dan Bolden says he works with the principal, coaches and the other teams to make the call on postponing a game. He also says the school is flexible when it comes to the weather. "Just because the roads aren't clear in the morning doesn't mean by evening it will look the same, so we can get a game in. On the other side sometimes we call off evening games even though the kids went to school because of changing weather," Bolden says.
