Pink in the rink and on the court

CINCINNATI (FOX 19) -- Tough guys do wear pink, according to the Cincinnati Cyclones. The hockey team hit the ice, which was also dyed pink, in their new pink and black jerseys.

The 3rd annual Pink in the Rink night Saturday benefits the Patty Brisben Foundation, which raises awareness and supports research for women's sex health issues.

After the game, the team auctioned off the jerseys and that money goes to the foundation.

Also doing the same thing, but for a different cause, the Xavier women's basketball team. The Musketeers are auctioning off their pink jerseys to help breast cancer awareness groups. 

Fans also got into the pink spirit by wearing different shades of the color.
