A dusting of snow and some cold temperatures overnight caused several accidents, including one in Butler County that turned fatal and another in Indiana that critically injured a pregnant woman.

Expect passing snow showers today with a half an inch possible, otherwise it will be blustery and cold with a high of 31 degrees and wind chill factors in the teens.

Some light snow overnight into Friday. However, I expect another burst of snow showers late Friday afternoon into the evening hours, into Saturday morning. Another half an inch to 1 inch of accumulation could be possible, especially to the north and east of the city.

Do not expect a big warm up into the first week of March high temperatures are forecast mainly in the upper 30's  to near 40 degrees, which is still well below average, but we are looking mainly dry to start next week.
