BREAKING NEWS from Tacoma, Washington, where an elementary school teacher has been shot and killed at school.

A massive New England snow storm has slammed the area with hurricane-force winds and several inches of snow. Story and video here. The same storm could dump some snow here. Get your complete forecast.

Attorneys in the trial of suspected serial killer Anthony Killer will spend much of the day today selecting jurors.

The Markland Dam will be open to river traffic again soon after being closed since September. Find out when it will open.

Police are investigating a homicide after a teenager was found shot to death in South Fairmount.

And on the other side of the river, police are looking for a shooting suspect in Newport.

A major winter storm on the east coast will bring us some light accumulation and gusty winds over the next 2 days. Expect daytime highs today only near 30 degrees, however with the wind it will feel more like the teens for a good portion of the day.

Then look for light snow this afternoon with pockets of steadier snow shower activity late this evening into Saturday morning. We will all see some snow showers in Cincinnati and points West, but I expect to see more accumulation north and east of the city overnight into Saturday morning. Expect about an inch or an inch and half in spots meaning some roads could be slick Saturday morning.
