Sharonville home invasion and shooting

CINCINNATI (FOX19) – Sharonville Police are investigating a home invasion and shooting that sent a man to the hospital with multiple gunshot wounds.

Authorities say a man tried to break into a home here in the 4000 block of Haverstraw Drive around 4 o'clock Sunday afternoon

"The information that we are getting at this point is that shooting victim came to the house pounding on the door they wouldn't let him in it was domestic related when they wouldn't let him in they went to the back there was a glass sliding door and smashed it out" says Jim Nesbit, Sharonville Police Department.

At that point a fight broke out with gunfire.

"When he came into the house he forced his way in... there was a struggle as a part of the struggle he was shot then he fled from the house up the street were we located him" says Jim Nesbit, Sharonville Police Department.

Police say the victim was shot in the upper torso of his body and taken to Bethesda North hospital, at last check he is in stable condition.

At least four people were taken into custody for questioning no one has been charged in this incident.
