COVINGTON, KY (FOX19) - Bond was set at $25,000 for a man accused of manslaughter after a bar fight left a man dead.

Matthew Kaylor, 24, was in a Kenton County courtroom Wednesday morning, charged with second degree manslaughter for the death of Patrick McGrath, 27.

The pair was involved in a bar fight early Sunday morning at Dickmann's sports bar in Fort Wright. McGrath died Sunday afternoon at University Hospital.

"I think, judging from what's been filed in the public records, that this started out as an argument between patrons of a bar right about closing time, and it ended up in someone's death," said Kenton County Commonwealth Attorney Rob Sanders.

Kaylor will be back in court next week for a preliminary hearing.
