Jury reaches guilty verdict in teen's stabbing

HAMILTON, OH (FOX19) -- A jury has reached a verdict in the stabbing death of a teenage girl.

A Butler County jury found 19-year-old Khrendron Gray guilty of the murder of 15-year-old Amber Robinson. The jury deliberated for almost six hours before a decision was reached.

Robinson was killed while breaking up a fight at a West Chester apartment complex in September of last year.

Gray was taken away in handcuffs after the verdict was read.

The family of Amber Robinson cried tears of joy and embraced each other. They say they jury has brought justice in this case and has brought closure to this tragedy.

Gray was sentenced to 15 years to life in prison.
