12-year-old arrested for arson at high school football field

WYOMING, OH (FOX19) - A 12-year-old juvenile who was arrested for a burglary also admitted to starting a fire at a local high school.

The juvenile was arrested Thursday for a burglary on Oak Street in Wyoming, and during questioning, admitted to starting a fire on Dec. 19, 2009 at the football field at Wyoming High School.

The fire burned a large portion of the bleachers and caused about $138,000 in damages.

The juvenile has been charged with Arson and Burglary. He was taken to the Hamilton County Juvenile Detention Center.
