Man indicted for killing mother while she was holding infant

CINCINNATI, OH (FOX19) - A Hamilton County grand jury has indicted a man accused of killing a woman while she was holding their infant daughter.

Shamon McDavis, 28, is charged with aggravated murder, murder and three counts of felonious assault for the murder of Kelli Walton and injury to Baby Kloe.

The shooting occurred earlier this month on Hawaiian Terrace.

The baby suffered injuries after being grazed by a bullet, but is expected to fully recover from her injuries.

If convicted, McDavis faces lived in prison.
