600 jobs headed to Sharonville

SHARONVILLE, OH (FOX19) - The bulldozers are digging and the dirt is flying for the new Partnership Way business park in Sharonville.

" To grow jobs in this economy is truly a bright spot," said Rep. Jean Schmidt (R-Ohio).

A bright spot that will shine across Sharonville says Mayor Virgil Lovitt II.

"Because they're jobs, but they're good paying jobs with benefits and they're the types of jobs that families and neighborhoods need," Lovitt said.

After years of sitting vacant the once federal land off Mosteller Road has now been released, construction for the business park will last about a year, then once complete, it's ready and waiting for 8 potential employers to move in.

"We found this site here and felt it would be a great location," said Joe Rhodenbaugh of Kutol Product Company.

The first tenet has already signed on, Kutol Products , a company that makes hand soap, will bring  more than 100 jobs, primarily manufacturing  over the next year.

"Packaging, filling, mixing, assembly jobs," Rhodenbaugh said.

Then once the business park takes off and gets rolling they expect hundreds of more jobs to Sharonville.

"There's going to be 600 to 800 jobs here over the next few years, and that's terrific even in a great economy, but in an economy that's flat, to grow jobs is wonderful," Schmidt said.

The convenient access to 275 will be a selling point to attract businesses to the property -- it's set to open next April.
