MASON, OH (FOX19) - A driver who was involved in an accident involving a Mason police officer was in court Tuesday.
Eleanor Donovan, 77, of Mason, pled no contest to hitting Officer Scott Miller with her car on Feb. 28 while he was directing traffic outside St. Susanna Church. She fled the scene, but turned herself in to police later that week. She was issued a traffic citation for failing to stop/leaving the scene of an accident
A judge found Donovan guilty, so she must pay a $400 fine and restitution. She also had her license suspended for 45 days, must get a medical evaluation and is on 90 days of phone-in probation.
