MOUNT WASHINGTON, OH (FOX19) - Fire crews are investigating a house fire in Mount Washington.
Flames broke out around 4:30 a.m. at a home in the 2300 block of Salvador Avenue.
When firefighters arrived, they found heavy flames coming from the rear of the home. They made an aggressive interior attack that kept the fire from spreading. It was brought under control within 20 minutes, but did extend to a rear storage shed.
Damage is estimated at about $40,000.
No one was injured, but the home is unoccupied, so crews are trying to figure out how the fire started.
