Man indicted for stealing from elderly woman

CINCINNATI, OH (FOX19) - A Mason man has been indicted on accusations that he swindled a woman out of more than $500,000.

Martin Morris, 50, was working for an online brokerage firm when the offense took place. Investigators say Morris deprived his victim of U.S. currency and/or securities from 2002-08.

The 14-count indictment charges Morris with three counts of aggravated theft, four counts of forgery, two counts of unauthorized use of property, two counts of telecommunications fraud, one count of theft and two counts of theft from elderly person or disabled adult.
