Mother charged after children found living in filth

CINCINNATI, OH (FOX19) - An Addyston mother faces child endangering charges after her children were found living in filthy conditions.

Tiffini Pelcha, 25, is charged with four counts of child endangering and one count of possession of drugs.

According to court documents, Pelcha's children, ages 2, 4, 6 and 9, were living in an Addyston home infested with roaches and bed bugs, along with animal feces scattered on the floors in every room of the residence.

The Board of Health condemned the home from being occupied until the residence was cleaned.

The home had been in this condition for some time, according to officers.

Pelcha appeared in court Friday morning, where her bond was set at $4,000.
