Shots fired in Downtown Cincinnati

CINCINNATI, OH (FOX19) - Police are investigating a shots fired incident in downtown Cincinnati.

It happened around 10:30 a.m. on the ramp from Fort Washington Way to Third Street, near the corner of Third and Broadway. The ramp from Southbound I-71 to Third Street was shut down for about an hour so police could investigate the incident, but it is now reopen.

Police say shots were fired from a gold Toyota at a blue Buick, causing the Buick to hit a wall. The Buick has a bullet hole, but it appears no people were shot.

Police are looking for two men who fled in the gold Toyota, and also for a man who was seen running from the scene up Broadway. Police believe the person running was a passenger in Buick. The driver of the Buick left the scene with police, but he was not in handcuffs.

Investigators believe the incident stemmed from a shooting incident earlier in the week.

Anyone with information on this shooting should call Crimestoppers at 513-352-3040.
